Privacy and data deletion
AI Engineering Circle is a community of practising engineers. We keep member data to the minimum needed to run the sessions, the member directory and the member wall.
What we collect
- Your email address, used for sign-in and session updates.
- Profile details you enter yourself: name, headline, role, company, city, LinkedIn URL, optional WhatsApp number, about text, skills, experience and education.
- Content you post on the member wall and event registrations you make.
How we use it
- To show your profile to other signed-in members in the directory.
- To send session invitations, reminders and event confirmations.
- To operate the member wall, stars and community moderation.
We do not sell member data and we do not share it with advertisers. Your WhatsApp number is optional and is only used by the organiser for session coordination.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion at any time from your profile page using the “Delete my profile” button, or by emailing saravanan@cloudenginelabs.io.
- Your profile is immediately marked for deletion and hidden from the directory.
- It is permanently deleted after 15 days. This grace period lets you cancel the request if you change your mind.
- Records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons — such as paid event registrations — are retained as required by law.
